  • Today Android 4.2 has started rolling out in the form of updates for the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus. It is also going for the new Nexus devices – Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 – to enable features such as lock screen widgets and multiple user accounts. Google has also revamped Gmail and the Clock app with the new version of the OS.

Android 4.2 features a function that allows the users to share content is a quick and convenient manner. Using an MHL adapter or a wireless link with an HDTV, smartphone and tablet owners can share everything that is displayed on the device’s screen to view on a much larger display. This includes pictures, movies and YouTube videos.

CNet has gathered that the official YouTube for Android will soon be updated to support the ne Quick Share function. The update should be available today, though at this time it hasn’t hit the Play Store yet. Once you get the new version of the app you will get a new button making it possible to stream from their devices to the television in a single tap, so long as they are connected on the same Wi-Fi network. The link also can be established with a simple tap with Google TV, making it much easier then before to enjoy your favorite channels on the big screen of an HDTV.
