  • GMail has surely become one of the favorite email providers and with the largest number of features available from any service. I provides very large capacities in terms of free space plus more from Google if you decide to use another of their services, like expanding Google Drive.

GMail is mostly accessed from the web with the mobile interface coming in second as the most used method of accessing the email service. Though the Android app is great and works as it should, for the best part only Android users can benefit from it, with others having to rely on either third party alternatives or the browser. This is always the case with the feature phones available today, with or without a touch interface.

Google has decided to revamp the interface for their web-based variant of GMail, offering it a new, cleaner look. People accessing GMail through the mobile browser can now immediately notice the change. In terms of usability and overall feel GMail hasn’t changed much and is still very fast compared to others even when accessed from the browser. It may also be possible that Google has improvements in mind to other of its web-based apps in the near future.
