  • Now available on Android is a remake by Ubisoft Entertainment of the original Prince of Persia game from 1989. Back then it was considered the best available for PC’s and had lots of fans world-wide. The following titles for PC with 3D graphics left a bitter taste of disappointment while the classic game still remained the best in the series.

Prince of Persia Classic is a is a 2D platforming game in which your quest as the Prince is to save your princess and fulfill your destiny. The game features very realistic and fluid movements and animation, something we also enjoyed in the original PC title. We notice that the art style has been updated to be more reflective of the games in the Sands of Time trilogy while tending to be a much slower, more methodical experience.

Prince of Persia Classic is a challenging game. It’s unlikely that most players will be able to finish the game in less than 60 minutes on their first attempt, even if they’ve got a walk-through handy. And only an extremely talented few will be able to successfully complete the game in survival mode, where you have only one life and the 60-minute time limit to deal with. If you’re interested in honing your skills, you can play levels over or try a time attack to see how fast you can beat the game. Controls work pretty well in this game where a slight touch can lead to your ultimate death. It is an enjoying title worth tiring even if you’re not a fan of the series.

Download Prince of Persia Classic for free from the Play Store.
