Urban Rivals will have you battling some very distinctive characters, leveling up, collecting more power, and vying for supremacy against one another. Starting only with a single set of eight characters, players must purchase booster packs to improve their deck. You first start out in a simulated tutorial of battles to get you acquainted to the game and learn how to fight. Once you get into the fight the goal is to earn experience that you can use to increase a weaker character’s experience level, vital in the early rounds.

The graphics of the game are somewhat good, with some pixelation on higher res screens.  There is also the ocasional network lag that can cause some discomfort but nothing to troubling. There is vibration when you lose a battle or you take damage. The background music is also very enjoying. It will take some time to get used to the gameplay but once you do it will become highly addictive. There are tons of players online to battle and you can be sure you won’t get bored very soon.
