  • If you’re looking for yet another virtual assistant, Speaktoit may just be… it. The software is able to answer questions, perform tasks, notify you and more and Speaktoit Assistant was even named among the Top 10 Android apps of the year by The New York Times. It takes up just 2.1 MB of space and it’s available for free.

This software uses natural language technology to answer questions, find information, launch applications and connect the user with social networks, like Facebook or Twitter. The Assistant allows you to search for weather reports, convert currency and measurements, send email, search for news and pictures and much more. You just need to speak in plain language and everything will work out. You can even choose a face to interact with, either a pretty blonde or brunette girl.

This is a beta version, that will not respond to certain queries, but Speaktoit promised to fix that soon. I find it cool that the likes of Siri, Evi, Iris, S Voice and Google Now are starting to get more and more rivals… You can get the Speaktoit Assistant from here.
