  • While live wallpapers are attractive enough, with some of them even gorgeous, most of us still prefer the classic look of a static wallpaper. It is sometimes pretty hard to find an image that will look good on your device. Sometimes the task becomes a real challenge as screen resolution increase and we have multiple homescreens.

Lucas Rocha designed a gorgeous looking app called Pattrn. It is a wallpaper app for Android phones and tablets but note like one you get to see every day.  It is designed to showcases the splendid patterns created by COLOURlovers community members. You can set to favorites the ones you like most and create your own gallery, as well as add them as your wallpaper. The search bar is used to enter key words for finding patterns according to your preferences.

Pattrn is currently in developent so we can expect future features through updates. The only options currently available in the settings menu are for setting the app to automatically change your wallpaper depending on the amount of time you specify. The interface is very well designed and extremely easy to get around. Other features include the ability to save patterns to your Android Gallery, view community stats and color palettes of each pattern and share patterns with your friends.

Pattrn can be downloaded for free from the Play Store.
