  • I used to think complex tools for managing your smartphone using the browser interface are a waist of time and don’t work as expected. While AirDroid still remains the most popular solution in this area, there are others that work maybe even better. Here is one of them.

Using PAW Server you can turn your Android device into a password protected web-server, accessed via your PC browser interface. The app is still in Beta, though it works pretty much as expected. Using PAW Server your Android smartphone can become a streaming Webcam or a remote audio recording device. You can also upload files to your phone, download/delete files, stream MP3s, view photos, send email and many more. There are countless possibilities for using PAW Server and it works fast and easy.

No need for wires or setup processes that take a lot of time. The Android PAW Server app provides a web address that you copy into your PC browser. Once the connection has been established you can log in using the default Username and Password. You can change the log in details any time through the browser interface. PAW Server also provides very useful info about the device, like free RAM, battery level, signal strength and others.

Download PAW Server for free from the Google Play Store.
