  • Android 4.0 ICS users are probably aware of the issue that prevents them from synchronizing their contacts with Facebook using the official app for Android. It is a major inconvenient that can only be solved by installing a third party Facebook app, such as Friendcaster by OneLouder Apps or others. If you only need to sync your contacts in a fast and convenient way then HaxSync is the way to go.

HaxSync can be used to synchronize your contacts with the one on Facebook. After you install the app you need to add it to your accounts in the device’s settings. After that you insert your credentials for authentication on Facebook and you’re done. The app will add all your Facebook contact to your existing ones or update with high-resolution photos the ones you already have.

The app uses 720×720 pixels images (only for Jelly Bean) and is able to crop their size using an image recognition algorithm. It also allows synchronization of Facebook Events and/or birthdays into your device’s calendar, including (optional) reminders. You can hand-pick the contacts you want to synchronize and every feature is highly configurable and can be disabled if unwanted.

HaxSync is available on the Play Store for a modest price.

It does NOT work and the support is almost nonexistent. There are other free solutions that works better than this app.
