  • Seeing that Vine’s 6 second clips are becoming more and more popular, Instagram released its own video making feature, that allows you to create 15 second of pure selfies and duckfaces. This feature was so popular, that 5 million videos were generated during the first 24 hours of availability.

Now Vine replies with an update to its Android app for starters. The update brings the option to search for users and hashtags, the ability to share to Facebook and improvements brought to capture speed, quality and audio/video sync. You can also clear the cache option available in Settings and there are the usual bug fixes and UI improvements.  The app is up for download here.

If you don’t like Vine anymore and you’re riding the fresh Instagram wave, you can download their new app from here, now that it was just updated. Both apps have reached version 4.0 and Instagram’s fresh app only brings video recording, that’s supported with Jelly Bean and above, so no luck for all of you Ice Cream Sandwich users.
