  • If you’re a uTorrent avid user, you may want to take your downloading spree with you on the go, using an Android app. One example is the uTorrent Beta – Torrent app, available in the Google Play Store now. Created by BitTorrent Inc, the software needs Android 2.1 and up and takes up 1.7 MB of storage.

This is a free app that allows you to find torrents and download them straight to the smartphone. This is the very first app that allows you to do that, find torrents and download them to your handset or tablet with Android. How cool is that? You can subscribe to RSS feeds, play content and do so much more. The first generation of the app is easy to use, very fast and makes the Android device more fun. This is a beta version app and there are no size or speed limits to bump into.

WiFi is still recommended for its use. As usual with early betas, feedback is welcome but before you do that you obviously need to download the app from here. At the time we’re writing the article there’s no app review in Play Store, so you may want to drop a line.
