  • If you’re a TV show buff and you also like crime drama, you may have heard about Underbelly, a series features Anthony LaPaglia among others. Well, now the drama will inspire a multi platform game. Considering the TV show 24 already inspired videogames, what’s stopping this one? Even Scrubs got its own game and so did House MD.

The deal to make the game was revealed at the start of the MIPCOM entertainment content market in Cannes, France. The title is created by the digital production company The Project Factory with Underbelly producer Screentime. The producers are saying that Skirmish is a fictional game of tactics and strategy and a highly stylized version of “cops and robbers”. The drama of the series is extended into the gaming experience, according to people close to the project.

The idea is to make the game appealing to Underbelly fans, but also the gamers all over the world. The title is a fictional one, that allows the player to choose to be the Boss of the Rough Company, the famous gang that wants to take over the city or command a Special Task Force of police aimed at stopping the baddies. In a world where Dexter has a very popular app out there, every show is bound to get its own application these days! Will you download this one?
