  • If you’re living in the UK it’s time to replace those uninspired gifts you give your friends with some uninspired Google Play gift cards. It appears that the help files of the service regarding “Gift cards & Google Play balance” have started referring to gift cards for UK residents.

The info has been added to the help files saying that the Google Play gift cards are available for people who live in USA and the UK. It’s pretty specific if you ask me and the addition may have come with the latest Google Play update, that also brought us that special Settings app on our devices. The help file also lists the available denominations available in the UK, with 10 quid, 25 and 50 pounds.

The maximum limit of 2000 can be applied to an user at any given time. No idea when such cards will hit the stores, but it should be soon and probably before Easter, if you ask me. So, are you willing to give your best mate a last minute gift like that?
