  • We wrote about Ubisoft’s Rayman Jungle Run for Android a while ago and now it appears that instead of launching this weekend, the game got delayed till September 27th. That particularly sucks because it was launched on the iPhone and iPad and it even supports the new iPhone 5 Retina Display. Jungle Run is the first game of the Rayman franchise specifically created for mobile devices.

The title was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and Pastagames, being powered the UbiArt framework engine that was behind the Rayman Origins title. Rayman Jungle Run offers a collection of 4 worlds and 40 levels for players to have fun with. Rayman is still an acrobatic little guy, who jumps around, flies, runs on walls and punches. You need to collect up to 100% of the Lums in at least5 levels in each world in order to have a shot at totally unlocking the game, including the final level in each world.

There’s so much hype and expectation about the game, that there’s already an Android fan app to keep you posted about the game’s arrival, reviews, expectations and stuff like that. The game is fast paced, as shown in the trailer below and there’s no limit to the gravity tricks you can do. Are you ready to do the Jungle Run?
