  • Unlike some of the other official apps, including for Facebook and similar services, Twitter has managed to grow on a large number of users, offering a great interface and highly appreciated number of features. The app has now been updated, bringing an impressive number of enhancements, coming in for both the Android and iOS mobile platforms.

Twitter for Android has just reached version 4.1.0 and is already available on the Google Play Store. The new version is without a doubt worthwhile as it brings a great deal of new feature that we are going to cover right away. The most important of these refers to the tweet composer, that now “makes it easier to share with quick access to your camera roll and clear previews of how your Tweets will appear”.

The social app has finally decided to take advantage of one of the most highly appreciated features in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It now offers support for rich notifications that will allow users to see more details about your interactions on Twitter right in the Notifications Drawer. Last but not lease, there is an improved layout for the timeline, including profiles, search, and Discover options available right away and you will receive notifications when a person you know joins Twitter.
