  • There’s a new tower defense game out there called Toy Defense, that is about to come to the market later this month. It’s the creation of Meleste Games and it was initially released onto iOS and it’s now coming to Google Play Store. It allows you to enter the world of toys and tower defense gaming.

Visuals may not be the core focus here, but the game will certainly be appealing, since it’s being compared to the likes of Sentinel 3. Toy Defense is based on humor and it offers you the option to defend your base using a variety of different “towers”, that will shoot the enemies. Toy Defense offers you aerial units as well, not only ground ones, an element you don’t often encounter in tower defense titles. There’s a World War I atmosphere in here and 73 perfectly designed levels.

4 historically accurate weapons are available, with no less than 24 upgrades and there are 9 different enemies to battle and 18 awards to earn. Facebook integration is promised and to make things easier you get repairmen that will fix towers without your assistance. More details in the trailer below and know that the game will have the same pricing as on iOS: 99 cents.
