  • It is no secret we are headed in the direction of large-screen but at the same time more compact devices. Tablets with sizes of 10-inches or more are sometime difficult to hold, especially in terms of certain methods of interaction. That is where this tool from Fahrbot Utilities comes in.

It is said the most simple things can sometimes prove the most useful. This could be the case with the new app released by developer Fahrbot and called Touch Blocker. Like the naming suggests, it is meant to make using medium to large screen devices more comfortable to hold and use. More so, the app can be activated by way of motion, the notifications bar or the provided widget.

Touch Blocker can be set so that it disregards certain touches on the screen that can be considered accidental. On a thin bezel device, holding it from the sides can register unwanted touches on the screen. This app offer adjustable dead zones, that will not register input depending on the settings. It is meant for the moments when the user is reading in low light or for blocking kids interaction. On top of that, it is available and provided for free.
