Top Gear Stunt School Revolution Review: Crazy Stig Stunts With Crazy Vehicles (Video)
We’ve been taking advantage of having the Allview Speed City tablet for testing purposes and reviewed the game Top Gear Stunt School Revolution. This title takes up 83 MB of storage, it’s available for free and it’s an official Top Gear title, with the whole BBC logo and everything.
You will drive outrageous vehicles, ranging from caravans with jet engines strapped to them to muscle cars with cows strapped to them. You will jump over the Grand Canyon in a British compact car, escape from Alcatraz by jumping from a trampoline or race in a long limousine painted like santa’s sleigh, while picking up gifts. The races have two purposes: stay within the allocated time and reach the amount of meters required by your jump. Stunts and races are crazy and you can get a big car collection and even upgrade some of your rides.
The challenges are very short, lasting about 10 to 20 seconds or so, so the game is well played in some dosage. You tilt the tablet to steer and use a brake and acceleration virtual button on the screen. The control is rather poor and the sensitivity of the tilt mechanism is a bit exaggerated. However, Top Gear SSR is pretty fun to play, so we give it an 8.5 out of 10. You can download it from here.
