  • GPS and Navigation systems are slowly becoming replaced by the smartphones and tablets we have with us each day. Thus no developer would want to be left behind and most have made very good mobile apps that are the perfect means for turning your smartphone into a navigation device.

TomTom is perhaps the most popular and well established maker of navigation and GPS solutions. Its software is very detailed and includes all the basic and advanced features that really make a difference compared to other alternatives available. As such, the biggest drawback in this department is the pricing for each individual area. If you are traveling a lot it can be really costly to purchase all the pieces of software you require, especially from such as TomTom.

The maker has now come with some new prices on the Play Store, for its different maps alternatives. We’ve seen TomTom U.S.A price go down over $20 and such was the case for the Western Europe price. Unfortunately the prices went back up like it never happened and then TomTom Brazil benefited from the sale, only it too went back up again. As it is I suggest you keep a close eye on TomTom International BV on the Store, and get offer as soon as it becomes available for the area you are interested in.
