Tiny Thief Review: Funky Little Stealth Game from Rovio Stars (Video)
Tiny Thief is an appealing little game from Rovio Stars, an indie initiative from Rovio, that aims at supporting smaller companies with big plans. The game goes for $3 and we tested it on the Oppo Find 5 handset.
This is a point and click adventure with a bit of stealth action in the middle. You get 6 adventures, each with 5 stages associated and multiple goals. Usually they involve finding your weasel friend and stealing all the need objects. You play a Robin Hood like character, who steals from the rich and pirates. The main character will steal cakes, cookies, jewelry and more.
You will use your cunning and hide inside barrels, as the guards pass by. You will also use various creatures, so for example you can give a raccoon food so he’ll leave you alone, or give a horse a carrot so you can climb on top of him. You can also distract guards by taking apart various mechanisms and contraptions.
Some levels will be divided into multiple screens and I have to say that I’m really digging the comic book style animations here. We give the game a 8.75 out of 10 and you can download it from here.
