  • The Tile Launcher app is a new way to customize your Android experience with a launcher that brings you something that Windows Phone users usually have: tiles. They may not be as big, varied and vividly colored like the WP ones, but they’re still pretty cute.

This app was actually released a few weeks ago, but it was initially plagued by issues with random force closes and its lack of features. Apparently, it’s safer now and it includes the ability to change fonts and colors and over-scroll, plus other intuitive features. It’s also rid of lag/problems and force closes. This is a smooth and multidirectional widget-compatible tile-based launcher for Android 4.0+.

It allows you to select your own title, icon, background, colors or images, plus scroll settings. The latter involve configuring your scrolling speed, direction and overscroll effect. There’s also a snap effect, that allows you to perform an action, switch screens or open a drawer when overscrolling. You can get the app from here.
