  • TouchType Ltd. are the developers behind one of the most successful apps for the Android platform and one of the (if not the) best software keyboards available. SwiftKey is used by millions of users around the Globe and it has been the Editor’s Choice on the Google Play Store for quite some time. SwiftKey version 3 has been available in final version on the Play Store for a couple of months and it brought many new features over the previous versions.

Another great product for input on Android is the Swype keyboard, developed by Nuance Communications Inc. The gesture based input method, coupled with great predictions has become very popular among the Android users. So popular that Google implemented a similar method of typing with the latest version of Android – 4.2. Now imagine the great predictions that SwiftKey has always offered and even won the Webby Award in front of Google Wallet for it, coupled with an innovative swiping method of typing. If you can’t then the video below should give you a good perspective of what SwiftKey will be offering in their latest release.

SwiftKey Flow is expected to be available by the end of the year. The developers promised to provide a pre-release Beta version to those interested in testing it and reporting any particular issues they find. The implementation looks very good and will help you type a lot faster then you normally would. You can register for the SwiftKey Flow beta here.
