Temple Run 2 Android Release Date Confirmed

  • One of the most succesful titles in the recent history of mobile gaming is without a doubt Temple Run. The game was initially launched for iOS and later made its way towareds the Android platform, along if a sequel called Temple Run: Brave.


    The newest title in what aims to become a series from developer Imangi Studios is called Temple Run 2.  As was the case with the previous title, the sequel has been launched for the iOS platform and is starting to make its way towards several countries. The game offers improvements on all levels to be declared a worthy addition to the highly successful title.

    Temple Run 2 features new and greatly improved graphics quality. There are now new ways to complete the missions, including in a mining cart or on a wire. The gameplay mechanics are still the same as with the original, flowing the recipe towards success. Though until now there was no official word as to when the title might become available for Android, Imangi co-founder Keith Shepherd has decided to let us know that the game is almost done for the Google platform and will hit the Play Store as soon as next week. There is also the possibility of a delay, as Keith Shepherd stated: “with these things, you never know.” Windows Phone might also get the first title next week.
