  • There are many solutions that we use to keep us informed of the battery status. In this category there are widgets of all shapes and sizes to place on our homescreen. Next there are status-bar notifications with all kinds of icons. Finally there is TEAM Battery Bar – the mos convenient of all three.

Not all manufacturer provided ROMs have the ability to show the battery percentage if the user wishes so. Samsung seems to have realised the importance of this function and acted accordingly. Other manufacturers, like Sony for instance provide nicely designed widgets. If you want something a little less conventional then have a look at TEAM battery Bar. The highly customisable app places a bar, in the form of a straight line on top of the status-bar, to display the current status of the battery.

TEAM Battery Bar was designed so that it does not interfere with the way the user normally interacts with the OS. The app provides a number of options to make it look and feel just as you wish. The battery is displayed in three different states. One color indicates the current state, another the drainage and finally there is a color indicating when it is charging. Each color can be modified from a wide variety of options. The battery bar’s position can also be adjusted  You can place it bellow the status bar or anywhere you feel like it. There are also charging animations that you can enable when you wish.

TEAM battery Bar is provided in both a free version and a Pro variant that costs only $0.99.
