  • Swiftkey just received a summer update, with two themes inspired by the season and integration of the Google continuous voice typing. There are also fixes of bugs with apps like Chrome, for example. Two new languages were added as well and if you wonder about those themes, they are called Sky (Blue) and Fuchsia (pink).

If you like to dictate, not only type you can use Google voice typing, the tool in ICS and Jelly Bean, that’s activated by long pressing the comma key. The new languages included are Malay and Urdu, reaching a total of 44 in this application. The enhancements and improvements include some work done to the use of SwifKey in Chrome, Jelly Bean and GTalk, or on the Samsung Galaxy S III. In case you’re wondering, the new version is SwiftKey 3.0.1 and you can download it now from Google Play Store.

The changelog of the app includes a fixed doubledouble backspace problem, fixed jumpy cursor issue and Dolphin HD browser now gets predictions. The HTC Notes app gets predictions as well and so does the Jelly Bean stock browser. In Chrome arrow keys do not work and in the Jelly Bean stock browser there’s the same problem. Download the app from here.
