  • SwiftKey Flow is the latest release when it comes to Android virtual keyboards and this “gliding gesture” input method is now available in beta phase, for both tablets and handsets. The apks are available below after the app launched in beta for SwiftKey’s 75.000 community of VIP users.

What SwiftKey does is replace the standard Android keyboard with one that learns your ways of input and the way you use language, while offering a very good predictive typing system. You can also improve the system by allowing the app to access your texts, mail, Facebook and Twitter, where you do most of your typing. SwiftKey Flow combines the prediction from SwiftKey’s main engine with the ability of gliding fingers across the screen in order to type words.

It’s all very similar to Swype’s hold and Swipe functionality and the new feature here is “continuous input”, with real time prediction. It lessens the number of taps you need and inserts the word just as you let go of the screen, with the proper prediction being applied. You can get the needed APK for smartphones here and tablets here. Enjoy!
