  • Star Command is a nostalgic title that reminds me of the older games from back in the days. There’s no official release date for the title just yet, but we’ve heard that the game could arrive in January 2013. Plenty of missions, races, ships and items have been integrated into the game, without problems.

There’s already a stress test of the game interface going on, as shown in our source link below. The stress test shows that the game can take the input from both a two year old and adults. Star command is supposed to be an action sim title, one that’s supposed to be compatible with Retina Displays and at the last check, the Kickstarter project of the game showed it to be 90% ready. The company behind the game has a solid reason for not releasing the title in December, since they didn’t want to compete with the latest releases from EA, Rovio and Halfbrick as they say themselves.

Star Command is a spaceship management game for iOS, Android and it will also come to the PC and Mac. Originally that maker of the game wanted $100k pledged on Kickstarter, but in the end they got $151k till now. The aim here is to build an interstellar starship customized according to your liking. You can choose the color, hull type, size, what goes inside and the crew. Engine rooms, medical bays and shield, everything is customizable.
