Splashtop 2 HD Available Now on Android Tablets (Video)

  • If you want a top remote desktop application, there’s Slashtop 2, now in a new version for Android slates. The next generation of remote desktop software is here, with its proprietary Bridging Cloud infrastructure, high performance clusters of secure Internet relay servers and more.

    The new app brings pinch and zoom to tablets, optimized performance with platform acceleration, a new and easy UI, plus the Wake on LAN function. It even supports 3G/4G and Internet with the Anywhere Access Pack. Security and privacy are also addressed, with the data guaranteed to be secure, as promised by Splashtop CEO himself. Splashtop 2 HD is available in a basic edition with connectivity available between devices in a local area network, plus there’s also a module called Anywhere Access Pack, but that’s available as in app purchase.

    This app has been updated on August 8th, needs Android 3.1 and later and takes up 3.4MB of space. It’s free and is compatible with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, IE, Firefox, Safari, so that you can access your PC remotely to any extent you feel the need to.
