  • Space Wars 3D is one of those little Android games that you download for fun while commuting towards work. The game is available for free in the Play Store and we tested it on the Allview P4 Duo handset, a Romanian branding phone.

We’re dealing with a classic space shooter, that only involves moving around a ship on the screen, while it accelerates into hyperspace and meets brightly coloured ships, lasers and all sorts of critters. The gameplay is kind of slow at first, but then it becomes fast paced and enemy ships pop out of nowhere. You can only get hit 3 times, losing each of your engines and you also have 3 bombs to attack with.

There’s a virtual thumbstick on the left of the screen to navigate the ship, but you can also use tilt motion for that purpose. When you shoot down ships, they leave behind pickups, like more fire rate, extra shooting range and a repair for your engines. The purple ships are the most dangerous ones and moving on to the audio/video side, the graphics are colourful and appealing, while the background song is DNB-ish. We give the game a 7.5 out of 10 and you get it from here.
