  • The classic adventures of the blue hedgehog Sonic are now available through the latest title Sonic 4 Episode II. The game costs $6.99 and in case you’re familiar with the title, yes it has been available from May, but only on Tegra 3 devices. Now it comes to all gadgets running Android 2.3 or a newer version of the OS.

The price is a tad bigger than we expected, but this is a famous franchise after all. As you probably suspect, the game is created by Sega and it offers a mountain of fun. As usual, you control the speedy hedgehog as he races through 3D levels and collects the usual golden rings. The action follows the events of Episode I and has Metal Sonic making an alliance with Dr. Eggman. Sonic will have to stop them, so he’s joined by Tails and they race on 4 new Zones.

There’s the option to play the game in cooperative mode with a friend via Bluetooth or WiFi and take control of Sonic and Tails as they battle Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic. Be advised that the game is quite big, taking up 358 MB of space. Also, you may want to know that if you own both Episode I and II, you will unlock an exclusive scenario featuring Metal Sonic. You can download the game from here.
