  • We’ve been using the Acer CloudMobile handset for the past days and among the apps we tested on it there’s the Snapseed photo manipulation app. This software was bought by Google not so long ago and it allows the user to edit his pics as he sees fit. The app is available for free in the Play Store and for me it surpasses Photoshop Touch.

Snapseed does an excellent job and it comes with an intuitive interface based on swiping, pinching and zooming. You can access the options for each effect/filter with vertical swipes and apply various gradations of effects with a horizontal swipe to the left or right. You can tweak saturation, brightness, contrast, image depth, tilting and add various drama, grunge, color effects, so basically you can totally change your pic and what’s most important, without losing quality.

You can even pinch to zoom some areas of the photo in order to interact only with little portions of an image and change their settings. You can also add frames, tweak the Grain and apply vintage and black and white filters, with loads of variations. You’ll turn an average Facebook pic into an artsy piece of work in no time. We give the app a 10 out of 10 and you can get it from here.
