  • Google bought Nik Software a while ago and people worried about Snapseed getting its potential wasted through this purchase. Well, now it appears that the big G will integrated it into its plans, as proved by Senior Engineering VP Vic Gundotra’s picture shown below.

The official was on an evening flight to Baltimore and he posted a pic of his view, the setting sun. The thing is that the picture was posted on Google+ using Snapseed. Right now this is an iOS only application that doesn’t have Google+ integration. This means that we should expect Snapseed for Android to come soon, with Google+ integration. This is an image editing app, one that reminds me of Instagram a bit, especially considering the effects you can apply to a photo.

They include Grunge, Drama, Vintage and there’s also an option called Selective Adjust, that relies on the user’s finger to make precise selections automatically and add enhancements in just seconds, courtesy of the revolutionary U Point technology.
