  • The creator of Mega Man now brings us a title called JJ Rockets, that has just hit the Play Store. The game has you playing as the president of the United States, who turns into a superhero in time of need. He’ll be wearing a latex suit and defending the country against the evil forces that cause panic and distress.

The game is played like Mega Man, so it’s a side scrolling affair, but with much shorter levels. There’s a time frame of about 3 minutes to finish each stage, reach the boss at the end and defeat them. That sets up a Sonic-style speed race, if you ask me, as well as loads of chaotic sequences. The bad news is that the game is only available in Japan and it runs through Mobage. This means that even if you try to dupe the system with Market Unlocker, you need a Japanese Mobage account to play.

Well, if you live in Japan or you have a Japanese Mobage account you can play the game and get the in game purchasable items. Keiji Inafune is the man to thank here, since he created Mega Man and also created this title. Quite a brilliant fellow, right? The game is up for download here.
