  • ShadowGun: DeadZone is a multiplayer sequel to the original Shadowgun title, that has finally left the beta stage, being made available in the Google Play Store in a finalized free version. The requirements here are simple: own an Android 3.0+ device and have more than 512 MB of RAM available.

ShadowGun is all about rich graphics, high level shadowing and complicated physics engine, so that’s why it needs a superior device. It’s a shooter that was initially limited to the Tegra 3 devices, when it was in beta phase, but MadFinger games refined and tweaked the title for other platforms and architectures. What MadFinger promises in this case is “intense tactical multiplayer combat with up to 12 players connected online”. Two popular game modes are available: DeathMatch and Zone Control.

There are also various maps and 10 playable characters to choose from. As a character’s rank increases, he will access new elements, that are unlocked and available during gameplay. You now have sprint and roll as new control element and the weapons offer a variety of choice, ranging from assault rifles to machine guns, plasma rifles, shotguns, snipers and more. The game is up for download here.
