  • In terms of hacks and modifications that are available for it, the  Android OS is unsurpassed and new ones are becoming available with any OS version release. For the microSD enabled devices there are plenty of offers available, for moving apps to external memory and even boosting the speed of the cards.

The types of cards that can be used with compatible Android devices is nothing short of amazing, ranging from the different manufacturers, sizes tro promised/actual speeds. Given that in most cases users tend to go for more GB rather than writing speeds, users now have an option that can help decrease the waiting times for when using this type of memory. Developer Daniel Mehrmann (Akusari) promotes the solution he calls SD-Booster – offering a speed increase to up to 40 times.

SD-Booster – like any other advanced option of its kind requires root permissions and can’t be used otherwise. Through the use of special algorithms related to the Android/Linus architecture the app can give SD Cards a boost in speed and even let its users fne tune the performance to their liking. It can be set to run on the OS startup and immediately apply the modifications and is very easy to use and understand. It is provided for free on the Google Play Store.
