Samurai II: Vengeance Now Costs Just 99 Cents! Summer Sales on Google Play!

  • It appears that summer sales are a good thing to get hot Android titles from. One example is Samurai II: Vengeance, that now costs only 99 cents. Created by Madfinger Games, this title is the sequel to Samurai: Way of the Warrior and it got lot of appreciation for its stylized manga graphics and quick gameplay.

    Samurai II has Daisuke as main character, as he seeks revenge in the countryside, moving from locations like a seafaring village to a flying fortress. This app offers intuitive virtual controls, lots of slicing, dynamic camera, quick battles and environmental puzzles. There are traps to avoid and items to uncover. There are even RPG elements, allowing you to upgrade the Samurai’s health, buy fresh attack combos and upgrade them further. The story of Samurai II: Vengeance is deliver through anime-like comics between levels.

    The AI is pretty good in this title and it will certainly give you a challenge. The title also includes a survival mode, that has you fighting waves of enemies and it has special support for Xperia Play and its gaming controls. The virtual joystick on the screen is very intuitive and you get the promise of running the game at 60 fps on Tegra 2 devices, making the new Samurai look stunning. This action title is developed on the Unity 3D 3.2 engine. You can download it from here for 99 cents.
