  • If you own a Samsung Galaxy S III, there’s now a very easy and fast way to unlock the bootloader on your device, especially if you’re on Verizon. There’s an app in Google Play Store that allows you to do this thing with just a single click. Days ago we found out that the developers managed to unlock the bootloader on the Verizon Galaxy S III and now they’re sharing the benefits.

After unlocking the bootloader, users can run non kexec AOSP ROMs. Of course, you should be cautious with such tinkering of your device, since it can void the warranty. The app is called VZW GS3 EZ Unlock and it was published in the Play Store by mmmeff. Know that the software requires root and it’s as simple as opening the app, pressing unlock and having your GS3 unlocked. Easy, right? Mmmeff claims that he didn’t make the exploit, instead he only made the app that turns flashing it into an easier process.

The software is free, of course, takes up 2 MB of space and requires Android 4.0 and up. So, are you ready to risk your phone’s safety for a bit of customization and fun with ROMs? Drop us a line in the comment area if you already unlocked your device. Download the app from here.
