Samsung Apps Store Updated

  • The Samsung Apps Store finally got updated and got rid of that antique looking interface. It was very hard to get around the older store and the entire UI felt old and slow. Sometimes you’d have to wait forever for an app category or section of the Store to load, but now it’s all over in version 2.7.032.

As you can see, the interface is clean and crisp and now the background is white, instead of black. This compact and clean look reminds of the Google Play Store actually, quite a bit. Users with Samsung tablets and smartphones will get a notification when opening Samsung Apps, regarding the availability of the update. I also hope that the search area of the application was updated as well and maybe we’ll get some special offers to celebrate the update.

Frankly speaking, the latest update to the LG App Store made it look better, even than this one and even Acer and Toshiba had some very interesting stores of their own. The Sony one kind of sucks, though… especially the one for media content and games. Anyway, users are saying that the white background kills the battery on their Super AMOLED devices, so best of luck with that Samsung!
