  • Just like Gameloft and its accounts that among others allow you to play NOVA 3 in multiplayer and Blitz Brigade with your own profile, Rovio now has a special account feature. Rovio Account allows you to store your game progress and continue playing on another device.

Rovio has been gradually rolling out the service for the past couple of months and they’ve been listening to feedback and ensuring a seamless sync experience for all the fans. iOS has been getting the same treatment as Android, apparently. Finally, you won’t have to play those dozens of levels in Angry Birds Star Wars yet again if you bought a new device.

Seeing how some Angry Birds games only unlock new levels if you played the initial bunch, this is also good news. Angry Birds Space had that nasty habit of forcing you to play the first levels to gain access to the new planets. Rovio Accounts is available for now on games like Angry Birds and The Croods. Other titles will follow.
