  • After Dead Trigger 2, there’s another Tegra 4 game announced officially: Riptide GP2. Riptide is traditionally a benchmark game for Tegra CPUs, so it was obvious that it was getting a follow-up. Riptide GP2 is coming this summer, according to Vector Unit, its maker. The announcement came via their official Facebook page.

The cool thing is that the game will be available on all Android devices, not just Tegra 4 ones in a few months. Riptide GP2 is a sequel to its famous predecessor, the original Riptide, that had everyone amazed at those water effects splashing the screen. It has the same water physics as the original, but it’s better, more varied and features more open environments. The jet boats are more detailed now, there’s some serious motion blur, as shown in the video below and everything is just…nicer.

The racing tracks are more detailed, splashes and waves look great and the pilot of the jetsky is also more detailed and does crazy stunts like moving around on his vehicle. Now there are 8 competitors in a race instead of 6 and you chain crazy stunts in order to make combos. More details in the video below.
