  • I guess most of you know what Rhapsody is and what it offers. In case you don’t, Rhapsody is the digital music service that allows you to listen all you want from wherever you are. It’s the ultimate music cloud experience, with over 16 million songs and every genre to choose from.

Rhapsody recently revealed it will launch another service and an app for Android. Named SongMatch, the app is powered by Gracenote, like so many others of the same kind before it. Like the naming suggests, SongMatch is the latest music service announced by the popular service and it will be used to identify music along with providing info about artist, album and other useful things.

In a similar way to popular services, like Sony’s TrackID, with only one tap the app will record a portion of the currently playing track and identify it through Gracenote. SongMatch will be available for free, either from the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore.
