  • If you loved Wipeout back in the days, then you’ll adore the title Repulze. It’s a hovercraft racing game, that debuted on iOS and arrived on Android in an upgraded version, that brings a few extra ships, tracks, AI ships and more. The title goes for $2.99, it takes up 257 MB of space and we played it on the LG Optimus G.

The game is made by Pixelbite and it offers you 7 hypersonic ships, 24 tracks to race on and energy gates for switching polarity. You will either pass through red and green gates alternatively or simply blue energy fields, depending on the type of game you chose. These gates give you a speed boost and the speed sensation when the boost is in action is fantastic, even better than the one in Asphalt 7.

Magnets, shortcuts and shooting AI ships are also part of the title and your ship can get upgrades and stuff like pulse cannons, rockets and more. You can custom your vehicle color and you should know that probably the only defect here is the soundtrack of the game, that’s basically lacking. As you complete objectives, you will get badges, that unlock new levels and you can also acquire tools, that allow you to upgrade a hovercraft.

We give this game a solid 9.5 out of 10 with the soundtrack behind its only defect. You can get it from here.
