  • EA and Firemonkeys, their new studio recently released a promo video for a new racing title for mobile platforms. It wasn’t yet announced if this game will come to Android, but seeing that Real Racing 2 eventually reached this OS, after iOS, I guess that the follow-up will too.

Real Racing 3 brings a full lineup of real world tracks, including the Mazda Raceway from Laguna Seca, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Silverstone. There’s a 22 card grid, so you’ll be able to compete against no less than 21 other drivers in a single race and that sounds great. The footage shown below is from the pre-alpha version of the game, so there’s still a lot of work till the finished title comes out. Real Racing 3 is scheduled for “later this year” and I expect it to have some serious requirements.

I say that it will demand much from your device because having 20+ cars on a track running and bumping into each other is a pretty serious task for any device. You want to get the car graphics right, the track graphics right and environment too. Excited about this or are you more of an Asphalt/NFC/Burnout gamer?
