Raspberry Pi Android Microcomputer Now Available in Europe
There have been an abundance of Android devices in all forms and shapes on the market last year and this year also. From USB bundles to the Raspberry Pi, users have all the options they need to enjoy the OS experience on their TV’s at home or at work.
The Android OS market has been consistently growing to an extent where not even Google can manage to keep track of all the devices available. The high affordability of most devices seems to be the main highlight for the devices available on the market and the Raspberry Pi is one that has increased popularity over time. The $25 microcomputer is not only aggressively priced but offers a bunch of features to make most users want to own it. Google has ordered no more than 15.000 of these to giveaway to U.K. schoolkids.
Raspberry Pi is offerd in variants, with the Model A priced at $25 and Model B going for $35. The first option is less likely to attract costumers, due to its limited power in terms of hardware specs, with no Ethernet, only one USB port and just 256 MB RAM. The second however should be enough for most as it offers all de above and more, plus 512 MB of RAM. Both are now available for shipping across Europe. For the rest of the world the manufacturer has stated that the device will be available soon enough:
“We are very, very pleased to finally be able to offer you a computer for $25. It’s what we said we’d do all along, and we can’t wait to see what you do with it,”
