  • Plague Inc is a game from Ndemic Creations, a sadistic strategy title that allows you to simulate a global pandemic and infect the planet with a virus. It requires Android 2.1 and up and it’s actually inspired by an older Flash game for the PC. It’s a very realistic plague simulator, that uses real life stats and info.

The AI is advanced and there are 7 different disease types, plus 4 special mutations and hundreds of features to evolves. Thousands of world events will affect your development in 50+ countries. You can evolve a bacteria, a virus and many more microorganisms and give them the ability to mutate, resist medicine and survive in cold areas or hot ones. You start the game by infecting a country and then you spread from one nation to another. As you spread you get points, DNA points that you spend on upgrades.

When the nations become aware of the disease they start researching a cure and you have to delay that or kill the global population before your disease is cured. The game has very nice sound effects, with children crying, crows doing their menacing sounds and various voice transmissions buzzing through. This is a very original title, available for free and you can also pay $1 to unlock all its cool features, like the ability to fast forward time in order to get things going. We give it a 10 out of 10 and you can download it from here.
