  • Pinterest just announced a new feature for its service called Secret Boards. Starting today they’re rolling it out specifically for the upcoming holidays and allowing a test for now, that enables anyone to create 3 secret boards. With the boards feature, Pinterest is expected to become more useful.

Using the feature you can keep track of holiday gifts, plan special events and even work on a special project you’re not ready to share with other people just yet. You can also invite the friends and family to pin with you. In order to create a secret board using the web, you need to visit your profile and scroll down to the bottom. Next you click Create a Secret Board and then click Add+ on the top right hand corner of the Pinterest and select Create Board, then turn the Secret button to On.

In order to perform that on a mobile device, you need to download the latest Pinterest version for Android phone or tablet. After that you need to go to your profile, tap the Boards tab and scroll down to the bottom till you see a button saying “Create a Secret Board”. As usual feedback is welcome.
