  • Parking Mania is not a new game, you know as much, but it’s only recently that we got to test it. The game is available for free in the Play Store and we tested it on the Sony Xperia M5. Coming from Chillingo, this is a certain test of dexterity and reflexes.

Launched initially in 2009, this game offers multiple control methods, including tilt, swipe, slider and steering wheel. There were 175 levels here and 80 vehicles, including taxis, sports cars and trucks. You can play your own music in the game and frankly speaking there are many ads here, but they keep the game free, so it’s OK.

Parking Mania takes up 50 MB of space and it requires you to get a parallel parking right, either with the back or front. Some levels involve parking multiple cars, going through traffic and even handling a police car. You have to be slow and patient, but time counts towards your final reward. There’s a fixed camera angle, tight angles and cartoonish graphics here.

Once you hit a car, you will trigger an alarm, which will annoy you for the rest of the level. You can have some fun with this title, if you’re patient and have good reflexes. You’ll probably enjoy the detailed backgrounds and rainy levels, but everything feels repetitive pretty fast. We give it a 7 out of 10 and you can download it here.
