  • The OUYA gaming console based on the Android OS is one of the most highly anticipated devices for this month. The device is said to arrive by the end of March and it will also feature its own OUYA Shop with some features for the developers willing to invest into the specific features the console offers.

Not only is OUYA looking to become one of the best devices for gaming available, it will also be one of the few to offer a complete multimedia support and earn the interest of a large number of developers. The device is already among the ones to have a dedicated section on XDA Developers, meaning that community involvement is very likely ensured.

The firstĀ OUYA consoles are expected to be shipped on March 28th. It is also the date when, according to the note sent by the team behind the project, a launch event is planed to be held in San-Francisco. The event will start atĀ 8PM and last until midnight, though we can’t be sure of what is planed to be unveiled during that interval. Meanwhile, the large number of users that pre-ordered the console are going to be among the first to have it shipped at their doorsteps.
