  • Ouya, the little Android gaming console that could, has the opportunity to change the gaming world forever, after the PS4 launch left us with a bitter taste in the mouth and one year away from the PS Vita console, it sounds like a total failure.

The Nintendo 3DS XL seems to be a mystery when it comes to sale, a code for failure as well. So, it’s time for Android consoles to strike back and take a hefty portion of the market, that’s there ripe for the taking. Ouya units will be shipping to Kickstarter backers starting March 28, 2013. According to the makers of the console parts are in the factory and being assembled right now, with lines fully working.

The full launch is set for June, when everyone will be able to buy the device and Ouya will hit the stores, including some major ones like Walmart, Best Buy and other retailers. The Kickstarter project involving Ouya is the highest grossing on the famous fund raising platform, with over $8.5 million gathered so far. The basic $99 bundle includes an Ouya console and Ouya game controller and everyone is spending money on that.
