  • I am one of the very few that purchased the app called Flade since it first arrived on the Play Store. And I’m telling you back then it didn’t look like much. And that is precisely the main reason for me to purchase it. It’s simplicity and the totally different look than what I’ve seen before attracted me. So I wasted no time in spending a few $ and boy was I right. That is for what it has turned out to be.

Flade has come a very long way since the first version. The team lead by Eric “J” Murtaugh and also with the same amount of effort from his colleagues and supporters have managed to get it very far. Currently the app has reached version 1.3.1.3 but development still goes on at the same rate. The launcher has retained it’s simplicity and is very fast. It also offers customisation options and looks highly attractive. The resource usage are also at an optimum level and with its awesome looks it manages to run perfect even on older devices.

So what’s next? Eric “J” Murtaugh has annsewered some exclusive questions in this regard. So sit back and enjoy:

“we are working on server integration for all the social feeds and we have to make sure we have control over the updates… “

what we are (also) working on right now is creating a page on the home screen dedicated to passive news, so giving the user to pair social accounts and select what users show up so they can get a kind of curated feed from their social networks in there. I also want to add other passive info to this like calendar events and missed calls etc to make it almost a complete timeline list of what the user cares about. Now that is what is being done now and should be seen in the beta channel very soon. Also you may see a web portal on your desktops that will do the same! but not a ton of details on that.

With that in mind do I think you should give Flade a shot. I most certainly do. I also think it’s one of the apps you won’t regret investing in for now and for the future. Flade is available to purchase for a very good price on the Google Play Store.
