  • OneLouder offers the most comprehensive suite of applications designed to meet all the user’s social needs. Not only that, through their available applications they offer powerful tools for increased productivity, regardless of where you work. Far from the official versions of Facebook / Twitter in terms of functionality, Tweetcaster and Friendcaster are the most known and used from OneLouder Apps. Not only that, OneLouder are also behind BaconReader (very popular Reddit client), SportCaster (sports news with Twitter integration functionally), 1Weather (weather forecast in an appealing form), etc.

FriendCaster is the dedicated Facebook app that offers extensive functionality compared to the official version. After the authentication you are greeted by a menu with shortcuts for quick access to the news feed, profile, friends, messages, photo albums, etc.. The interface is very well design with modern Holo elements and it resembles the official Facebook application to keep a note of familiarity. The settings menu is complete. There is the possibility to add multiple accounts, change the theme, activate “Pull to Refresh” or access advanced notification options. You can synchronize your phone contacts with high resolution photos from Facebook. The app provides widgets with scrolling function. Perhaps the most important aspect of this application is its fluidity. The refresh is fast, it is smooth and pleasant, without stumbling, typical to the official Facebook application. 2 additional app can be installed, providing access to chat and photo editing features. Friendcaster is available in a free version with adds but subtle enough not to affect the experience. There is also the Pro version, paid without adds.

TweetCaster is certainly the most complete solution for the Tweeter. The application is available on almost all existing platforms. Immediately after authentication and authorization you are greeted by the main screen with shortcuts to its main functions. The interface is completely customizable, from the color of your tweets to the theme of the entire application. As with Friendcaster, we get the ability to add multiple accounts. Everything is fast and fluid, we have “Pull to Refresh” and basically there isn’t something a Twitter user would wish for TweetCaster to not provide. The application is available on the Android platform in free (with ads) and Pro version (paid). The recent list of improvements through updates includes:

    • Notification of unread mentions and messages issue fix
    • Trends – fix for setting location
    • 7″ tablet users (Honeycomb and above) can now toggle between phone and tablet layout
    • Image preview support for MOLOME
    • Copy tweet option added for tablet users
    • Improved auto-complete user search when composing
